As one of New Zealand’s most long standing and vocal advocates for the rights of the underdog, Richie has a long-standing keen interest in politics, which saw him studying the field at University. Richie was heavily involved in the 2014 general election, leading a drive to get young people to become engaged in politics and to make the effort to get out to cast their vote.
Richie is available to MC and facilitate political debates and events, as well as conduct interviews for radio and television .
Richie entered the public world of radio in 2000 as host of the hardcore show on Auckland’s quintessential student radio station, bfm, and immediately fell in love with being on air. He would go on to over 15 years of radio broadcasting.
